Lora at the Farm

a self reflective essay written during a very significant time in my life isolated at my mum's farm in the waikato. i had just started hormones and i was going through a an. episode of depression, trans loathing, self doubt. it was in this darkness where i was able to find hope, through reflection, writing.  looking back to where i was when i wrote this to where i am now, i see a significant growth. this piece was never intended to leave my personal documents, yet it feels important, and i feel obliged to share it as my first self-published piece of writing.
